Mr. Peter Gysegem

My name is Peter Gysegem. I come from the United States of America, and I've been living here for seven or eight years now. On my first visit to Thailand in 2002, I got a little bit of food poisoning and I got the best care, even though the hospital wasn't as big at the time. Also, because others of my acquaintance have rated this the best hospital in Thailand and my experience is, yeah, I agree with that.

Doctor who I believe is overall managing my case is Dr. Thospol. He is a gastroenterologist here, highly rated internationally. My oncologist is Dr. Bun. I could not ask for better medical care than they coordinate well, they keep in touch with each other on my case, and I've been very happy with it.

Actually, all of the doctors have been wonderful throughout. I had a team of four surgeons did the operation on me. I am now back after my surgery to start a second round of chemotherapy, just to catch the last cancer cells.

I would recommend this hospital to everyone. I especially... although I've already mentioned the doctors, the quality of the nursing care here is absolutely phenomenal. Everything from the Intensive Care Unit to the follow-up while I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks after the surgery.
